But their cosmetics are pretty expensive. Their other game (Neural Cloud), follows the same microtransaction plan, so I'm sure GFL2 will have similar microtransaction.

Looking at these gameplays, even thought im interested in gameplay, i think it will flop hard. The game is simply not lewd enough for mobile game. I really hope they increase the boob size considerably and make the hips wider if they want to success and not flop.

Reruns? Well, now in GFL 1, past events are been put in a special Tabs... So there are no Rerun anymore. The Events in GFL now are always the continuation from the Main Story. CN Server just got 1 of the sad Event when we will lost Angelica.

I'm not so hot on the XCOM style gameplay but there is enough here that I am interested in at least trying it. I really hope they have the full cast of T-Dolls as I want to build *my* squads instead of the meta based ones that we see a lot of. Good on them for at least getting Sabrina in game.

Sangvs Ferri dolls and mechanized units have already been captured and assimilated into G&K. Last white day/valentine's day event in GFL was about Destroyer (an SF doll) eating ALL of the dolls' chocolate, and the Commander had to make all the chocolate again that night with the help of G&K and SF dolls. Architect and Gager had a huge part in Fixed Point where they held out against a powerful enemy in an effort to buy time for G&K dolls. We're even starting to capture Nytos from Paradeus in GFL1. As for their whereabouts GFL2... nobody knows. I think they will be brought back in GFL2 because they're quite popular, especially Architect.

We've already have Snowbreak and Calabiyau cover the tps genre so this one will offer another dish for the table. Also, it's not rts, it's turn based and very similar to XCOM, which is a very great game of this genre that you should check, too.

Who is this game for, though? Mobile gacha fans? Game seems to require a lot of attention and has grahics that majority of phones people have either won't handle at proper framerates or will turn the phone into a pocket heater. And tactics games are a very niche genre to strike big on PC/consoles, especially with PC players always looking down on gachas due to lootbox mechanic. XCOM fans? They're too old to fall for gachas, don't like P2W, and game doesn't have the depth of modded XCOM they play 24/7 anyway, there's nothing for them here. So that leaves what, fans of the first game? I've seen recent earning charts, that won't be enough. Everything about the game looks like a high effort niche product, which is weird considering GFL has been struggling to stay afloat for years.

I've seen many positive opinions about this game among various communities, even from people who dont play gachas. I dont worry too much about its future playerbase as long as marketing is done well

I've been saying this for years and only get angry nerd rage comments. Only thing I can tell you is that the game is being developed mainly for the pc as it was stated multiple times that modders could do what they wanted with the models, something you wouldn't do on a phone. There's a bunch of stuff I still find alarming but whatever I say people only get mad at me so w/e. Maybe it'll be a huge hit in china and that'll keep it floating in the other regions.
