No Nora here, but I got through okay using Hanna instead. Just had to swap Helix out for Persicaria a few times when Helix died.

I want to play this game so much until the "weapon gacha" I still want to play it but I lost much of my hype already.

The idea of having more arms to reload is interesting, as don't usually think about what if I have more arms. But I think if we can make it into something like 2-men LMG team, where one man shoot, one man reload, I think it would be more reasonable. The ingame animation, you toss the mag away. I would like to keep the mag. It's actually okay if we talk about how future technology can makes magazine in a cheaper cost, large quantity, or because we have a lot of mags due to we bought a lot of reserve magazine. It's also STANAG mag, so it should be common to find one. In fact, M1 carbine mag and early 20 rounds AR aluminum mag is intended to be disposable. But not in the way of you throw it after use. The AR mag, of course, in the end, no one toss it away. The M1 carbine mag, you do toss it away, but after like a week of using, literally until the next supply comes. Other than that, I have watched videos about the third arms. In the BakerBallisticLLC one, you don't actually have a third arms, but something like a fish rod. You use that with your left arms to carry a shield, then your gun lean on the shield. In another, the Steadicam third arm, the arm hold the gun for you so your other hand can do whatever you want. Not to mention the M56 smart gun

​@@max7971 eh? Have you ever played ranking in gfl1 and tried to get high score? Trying to control a thing such as rng is very frustrating, even after when they introduce the reset button. About the gacha system, you need to also consider other factors such as how fast they release new character, how much free roll they let you farm, how dupe/signature dependent they make the character to be, ... Ex: 1. 50% SSR, no 50/50, pity is 4, carry over. You can get 1 free roll monthly, each roll cost $20. There are 10 new characters each month. 2. 0.6% SSR, 50/50, pity is 80, carry over. You can get 80 free roll monthly, each roll cost $0.25. There is 1 new character each month. You can clearly see, if just look at the rate and pity, 1st model is like heaven, but in reality it isn't. Ofc the 2nd one also doesn't guarantee you the limited character, but it's clearly much more manageable.

@@tacticalmechtank5556 how is this a client/gacha/new player related tho? You not getting “desired” score due to rng is such a minor blemish as opposed to, you know, having shit gacha rates and weapon/character banners at the get-go.

​@@mendics Yeah, I still remember having to reset a ranking fight for 1h to get the desired outcome.The difficulty is high to the point that besides using the optimal team, you also need to pray for favorable rng to make it work.

@@tacticalmechtank5556 imo the difficulty also comes because of how jank the gameplay is, microing in gfl is a chore, and how unbalanced the units are, theres a clear power creep in the game, and they dont care about it. casual jumping to tryhard is a big leap, theres no inbetween, and the game does a poor job making people transition.

@@tacticalmechtank5556 in my opinion they should try to increase the rates on SSR to a base rate of 50% guaranteed if it is an off rate, the rate chance increases.

@@LimitPro1 I still think a gacha system should be judged as a whole including how fast new char release, how much roll you can farm daily, how dupe/signature dependent, ... besides the rate and pity. Since we are still in testing phase, they will try all the possible value, including best and worst one, to get the optimal result on release because after that there's no turning back.

@@user-ow6pr9fv4k they don't have similar rates in HSR you have a 50% chance on getting the characters you want, HSR rates is basically Honkai Impact 3rd.

Game got 3.3/10 stars rating in CN server, mostly unobtainable gacha rate. Hope they will change soon.

This is the least f2p friendly gacha,ever. They significantlyreduced the resources compared to last cbt. If you finish every daily and buy subscription every month you will get enough resources for one banner pity after 4 months lol.

For example, if they give you 50% ssr but each version they give you only 1 roll and each roll cost $20 then it's even worse than your "bad gacha", get it?

And it won’t change, if you don’t bring up that it’s a problem. ​@@zkm5934 Yeah, I agree with most of the parts you listed. The biggest dissapointment for me is the dorm system. I expected it to be a better version of Snowbreak, with fully voice and free zoom. The disgusting plot you said is CN players overeacting (I supposed you're mentioning the Type95 one), which, I think, can still be fixed by simply change the NPC gender to female and redo the voice for that part. There are other plot parts that has contradiction with gfl1 plot pointed out, but overall not that big of a problem compare to the Type95 one. The low roll resource is also a big issue here, but since I'm also a dev (not a game dev, though) I suppose it's boundary analysis strategy. They will try to set the top and bottom resources value to gather feedback and then implement something in the middle when officially release. However, this is just my thinking so it may be wrong. All in all, what I want to emphasize here is that we don't know what will happen in the future, just like how gfl1 still survive until this day despite the death flag back in Singularity. Just hope for the best and prepare for the worst, but don't doom posting.

What's worse is that they don't seem to intend to communicate with players and solve these problems. For example, in the reward section that was initially criticized by players, a video producer communicated with the official and the reply was that they did this on purpose, and They knew players would react violently to this. But they didn't have any solution. What's even more funny is that the video maker put this exchange in his video and was quickly removed from the video after official complaints. They even had time to delete a large number of players' comments and replies. Unwilling to give players a solution. Especially after I participated in the first three closed tests, I can only say that their attitude towards feedback is very perfunctory. Their approach is to delete parts that players don't like but do not affect making money, while turning a blind eye to the real experience of players.
